My name is Bruce Hirst. Back in the 90's I was a teacher where I taught graphic arts to high school vo-tech students. This included running a printing press, screen printing t-shirts and using vinyl cutting sign making equipment. The year I started was the first year the school had computers for the students to use.
I've always been a bit obsessed with board games and when Heroquest first came out, I wanted to make a 3D board for it. That started me on the path to carving building blocks and making silicone molds so they could be cast in plaster, allowing me to build anything I wanted. I started the small business of Hirst Arts to sell these molds soon after. Me and my wife are the only employees. The business ran well for 20 years until Covid reduced sales to where it barely pays its own expenses. I still make molds for sale but am of retirement age and still do it as a hobby. Most of my purchases and sales have something to do with board games or the miniature sculpture hobby.
I purchased this game for it's system link capability. The main problem is that you only get a couple of lousey cars to start with and the rest have to be unlocked. You do get to race on 13 different tracks though.
We have a gaming group of 8 people which only meet once a week for a couple of hours. No one wants to spend untold hours to unlock cars for a quick system link game.
They could have at least left one or two cars from each class unlocked for this purpose.
Other than that, it's much like Forza to me.

Has everything you need for five players. Just be sure you don't have a really old version of Catan or the tiles won't match.
