His books are about REAL life: marriages in crisis,loss of a job, a sick child, losing a child, old age, loneliness, and many of life's struggles. They are not all gloom and doom. He shows how people can heal, rise above their situation,and re-connect with one another.
"The Five Lessons A Millionaire Taught Me", is a non-fiction work by Richard Paul Evans. Having had severe financial problems growing up in a large family,and almost losing everything when his father was disabled, Richard Paul Evans shares how he determined never to be poor again. He shares the advice that he received from a real millionaire, and how he put those practices to use in his own life. Any one can have savings. Any one can have financial security. Evans shares ideas on how to get ahead and stay ahead, and you don't need a college degree to do it.
Most financial planning books are stuffy, complicated, and long. This book is short, very concise and to the point. An easy, inspiring read.
I recommend giving this book to teenagers or graduates as a gift. Actually, the sooner as person reads it,the better. If you can keep a young adult from falling into the pitfalls of student loans and credit card debt, you can forever change their life. This book is helpful for any one, in any stage of their financial life. It really is never too late to turn your financial life around.

The main focus of this daily devotional is YOU! 365 days of taking the focus off the problem or problem person, and putting it back on you, your healing, and your life. So much encouragement about letting go of hurtful things and people, and finally reclaiming your life once more; the quality life you deserve to live.
