I was considering buying a DVD player with a digital tuner to play DVDs for the Grandchildren and use as a second tv when we took them away to the caravan. I then saw this product. I was sceptical that it would be any good given its price (£5.49 delivered) but I thought I'd give it a try.
It came within 24 hours 2 days before Christmas (brilliant). The first thing I needed to do was load the DVD software. I immediately started to get error message stating the software was not compatible with my laptop. Did a bit of checking and found that Windows 10 already has some of it preloaded so I loaded the other bits one by one and it came up with the setup screen.
I began the channel search with the portable aerial supplied and it didn't find any so I repeated the process using a connection to my roof aerial.
It works really well with all the Freeview and Radio Channels I get on my home TV.
It comes with a remote but all controls appear at the bottom of the screen and hide when not in use.
I've given it 4 stars because I nearly tossed it when I started getting the error messages but I'm pleased I didn't. This gadget is excellent value for the money, now I need a decent aerial!!
