Not just for gaming

I do a lot of work with Adobe CC and other programs that require a bit of grunt. I'm that 1 in 50 person who does graphic design and video/audio editing but hates Macs. This machine has been perfect: it runs super fast and in near silence without overheating. The graphics and sound are both brilliant: they're perfectly suited to audio-visual editing, not just gaming. I bought refurbished and had to update a number of drivers on arrival. Not ideal, but definitely not a massive issue. It also came with Windows 8.1 installed, which I quickly updated to Windows 10. With a few tweaks, I've got it booting in under 5 seconds - and that's with HD, not SSD. While I love the speed of SSD, it's hard to go past the reliability of HD for a work computer. All in all, this is a workhorse desktop replacement. But it also manages to look damn good while it goes about its business.

Used on a Windows 10 setup. Worked perfectly without having to install drivers. Boosted speed considerably from wifi connection.

Decent sized laptop bag

Stoked to find this after struggling to find a bag for my Asus ROG – it’s hard to find bags for laptops over 17”. It’s well padded and has sturdy clips and strong shoulder strap.
