Too much for AZ riding?
I do lots of riding (1000 miles in 2015) on Trail 100, and McDowell Sonoran Preserve. I switched tires from the Maxxis Ikons, to the Geax Sturdy and thought that this might be too much tire for the riding I do (full suspension 5 inch travel bike). These tires are not light so they will slow you down. However, they seem to float across the varied terrain on Trail 100, and do a great job of gripping on the granite gravel out in the Sonoran preserve. Overall I would recommend this tire for AZ, I have been pleasantly surprise as I thought I may have made a mistake buying, but found them to be quite the find.

It's not "The Goal"
