Amazing target separation! Incredible value!
I purchased this search coil as an addition to my Teknetics T2. I like the size at 10 inches by 5 inches because it allows for fast ground coverage and excellent target separation. After having it for a few days, I was finally able to go detecting at an area lake. Even running minimal discrimination, I was able to easily move from target to target. After a day of hunting, I was able to find about 9 different pieces of (mostly bling) jewelry. However, the find of the day came when I located a target that sounded out clear, reading in the pulltab range. Having dug dozens throughout the day, I figured that this would be another piece of similar aluminum trash, but to my delight, I unearthed a 10 karat man's wedding band. The thin band was about 6 inches deep in a hole that also had a trash target, but the 10x5 elliptical search coil allowed me to separate the treasure from the trash, paying for itself on the first day of use!
