H.P. Lovecraft: The Complete Fiction
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich This is a well made, rather beautiful edition which belies its low price, is clearly printed on good quality paper and is stitched and bound for aeons of use. Amidst the welter of tomes Lovecraftian this one eschews the ubiquitous tentacles for its cover and instead shows "-the dark universe yawning where the black planets roll without aim." which is more more in keeping with Lovecraft's cosmicism. And the tales themselves? yes they're all here, except for the revisions and poetry, as corrected by S.T. Joshi who also wrote the introduction. The epoch making essay Supernatural Horror in Literature is included, as is an appendix of juvenilia and an early draft of The Shadow Over Innsmouth. Thoroughly recommended!
