this version of Brother Future is HIGHLY edited-----SO many parts were removed from this film---did not know this. If you've never seen the original before maybe this movie would come across as Watery. This is because profanity, suggestive scenes, etc. were removed (& I def understand why---for the sake of small children & family viewing---however---history is history and no one should ever Hide what people really said or did during American-not-so-lovely-pre-civil war history. It's not pretty---is what it is. i still would have bought it because i love the story and the movie so much but Bummer it makes me miss the deleted scenes even more
