Because EVERY kid has a bad day now and then!
I used this book in my kindergarten and early elementary classes, and the children really relate to Alexander. It seems to give them permission to talk about their "bad days" instead of acting out their distress, and I like to read this book when one of my students is having a tough time following the rules, then talk with the class about what we can do when we feel distressed, without spreading our suffering around. It is good discussion starter with a light enough tone to make it palatable to young students.

It brews pretty fast, but the top of the reservoir doesn't seal well, so a good bit of steam escapes, and that is probably why the coffee isn't all that hot after brewing. I do like the see-through feature of the reservoir, so I can tell how full it is before brewing. If I didn't need a replacement for my old coffeemaker right away, I might have considered returning it. As it is, for the price, it is good enough.

Good heavy duty dressing/bandage
Stuck well, covered larger than usual area. Only thing that was problematic for me was that I seem to have an allergic reaction to the adhesive. Otherwise it was comfortable and very good protection for wound.
