Powerful WW2 True Story

I am not a war movie watcher My niece told me about Hacksaw Ridge. I purchased 2 dvds. This was the most adorable, loving, honest, sincere and courageous soldier I have seen. Each time he goes for another injured soldier he asks God to give him the strength to get one more. He marries before going to war. His wife gave him a small Bible , with her photo, to keep with him always. This has graphic photos of the injured so I would not recommend for the young or those who do not like bloody scenes. I have watched this movie twice and will watch it again. The second dvd was given to a friend who, also, loved this movie.
