Center case gasket does not sale cases completely

I ordered this kit for a 1987 CR 500 twice. After i rebuilt the motor the first time I missed the fact that it did not fit right and It suck air thru the thin space that the gasket did not seal and ruined the top end. I was thinking I had received the wrong kit the first time so, I ordered a new piston kit homed the cylinder. Ordered a new gasket kit and found that the new center case gasket is also short. I will be making my own gasket Don't ordered this kit it will leave you short of cash and still looking for the right part.
