Early years spent in NJ, College in Massachusetts, grad school in Wash DC, spent 4 yrs in the USAF, came home and spent my career years in VT. Retired in 1911 and have been living near Charlotte, NC ever since.

    Very fast shipping! I bought the watch Sunday afternoon and it arrived, sufficiently packaged, on Friday. Upon initial inspection I was concerned it was not the watch I had bid on. It has intricate damascening that was not visible in the listing photos. But, after taking a few photos I was able to see it was the right watch. With a small amount of tweaking I got it to keep even better time than advertised. This is my 2nd 1894 Riverside Maximus keeping perfect time in two positions, +/-1 sec/day.
