Intriguing and thought provoking
Excellent plot which seamlessly integrates human actors with animated beings. Music and scenery are magnificent. Some of it is a bit too frightening or gruesome for Pan's Labyrinth to be suitable for younger children which is a shame as otherwise it is intriguing and thought provoking.

A flagship that keeps sailing
While not the latest and greatest this relatively inexpensive 2013 phone holds its own today. It has all the expected communications capabilities including 4G LTE data for city dwellers. It is sturdy and elegant and the front panel consists mainly of a large super clear screen. The performance is brilliant - no lags running even demanding programs. The 13MP camera takes really detailed snaps and videos. Double tap on a blank part of the desktop toggles standby which is a great alternative to pressing the ON/OFF button on the back. The phone can replace and even improve your household remote controls because you can teach it the button codes and design your own layout focussing on the controls you use the most. Pretty close to stock Android and USB host makes it a great developer test rig too. The only downside is quietish telephony so can be hard to make/ receive calls in a noisy environment compared with say HTC ONE. Great price and great product. Buyer warnings: the cheaper D800 or D801 variants may not work with Australian Telcos - you need the D802, D802T or D802TA. The opsys occupies about 7 GB so the 16 GB variants may not provide enough storage (there is no SD card slot) depending on your needs.
