Nest Battery smoke alarm
it worksnlike a normal smoke alarm and more.
lets you know if there is smoke and that the alarm may sound.
and if the smoke is clearing both in the room and on your phone. i had 1 time that the unit was going off without smoke and a firm gust through the unit to clear out particulates fixed that. proximity light in dark rooms while in stand by is handy. 6 months use so far
