Digital & often faulty
These OJC reissues from the ‘10s are not mastered well, and sound like they are sourced from digital files, as opposed to master tapes. The vinyl is 180g but that only means the blank canvas is good quality; it doesn’t speak to the quality of the pressing. There are often slight warps and distortion in the bass and low mids from straight out of the shrink wrap. My copy of this had significant pressing errors that made it unlistenable on the first spin. You’re better off shelling out a bit extra for a pre-digital pressing, or just listen to a high quality WAV file, as this LP is quite rare.
