Not genuine Prolific chip in there
The particular cable I received is a counterfeit Prolific chip, so the usual monkey business to reset drivers every time. Kind of a pain. Anyway, beware.

Buy the REAL AUTHENTIC Powerpoles - far superior to the ripoffs!!!
The authentic Anderson Powerpoles (ie from Acer Racing) are WAY BETTER than the many ripoffs being sold here. The quality of the connectors and tolerances on the plastic housings is really significantly better. (in particular, the ripoff Powerpoles have really flimsy and easy to break conductors/pins, whereas the authentic Powerpoles conductors are indestructible). Even though the real ones are more $$$, WELL WORTH the money!!!

Morningstar deserves the reputation - excellent
Excellent quality and works very, very well (particularly compared with cheap offshore alternatives). Well worth the premium.
