Suitable for retro builds because it has plenty of amps on 3.3 and 5 volt rails. Very different from a modern psu. As with any psu of this vintage, unfortunately can fail but has excellent built in safety features. The workmanship is superior to today, so difficult to source quality parts if you choose to repair.

Good addition to the toolbox if used correctly.
Does the job it was intended to do: e.g. replacing a close coupled toilet syphon. If you use it for a job for which it was not intended you will probably break it since it is a lightweight tool (by design).
