A beautiful book for the coffee table featuring spectacular 1700’s paintings of natural history including reptiles, butterflies, wildlife, flowers, spiders, other insects, marine life, etc
The first and best 2001 edition is the largest and most stunning at 17.5 x 12 inches. All later editions are smaller and much less impressive, and the newest edition tiny at 8.8x6.5 inches, even though they cost a fraction of a used 2001 first edition. You get what you pay for!!
