    I purchased from this seller a blu ray from the UK to play on my region free blu ray player. The seller immediately wrote to me to make sure I understood that I bought a disc that wouldn’t play on a USA player. Of course, I informed him that this was a product I wanted. He subsequently communicated with me regarding the shipping of the blu ray. I very much appreciate his communication and consideration during this transaction. The definitive CD release of this album (as of 2018)
The original artwork and complete UK tracklist finally restored (and no edited tracks, these are taken from the original UK master tapes). The singles spliced into the US version are also included as bonus tracks. Mastering is excellent - no brickwall compression. Liner notes are okay, written by David Fricke and what you would expect. The best album they did with Peter Green, and IMHO one of their four truly great albums.

Got this brand new for a very cheap price from the original vendor. This is the best CD you can get of Gillespie's Musicraft sides - this is essential to any jazz collection and arguably the best music he ever did (matched only by the RCA recordings he did in the '40s), encompassing those early revolutionary sides with Charlie Parker announcing the bebop explosion to the world and the groundbreaking big band sides he did in the '40s before he made the next great leap by incorporating more Afro-Cuban elements into his music.

One of the essential building blocks for a George Jones collection
The definitive release of George Jones's United Artists recordings, even better than Omnivore's complete singles collection (though to be fair that release is also excellent in its own right). Great sound, it was mastered by Steve Hoffman who says he used the original three-tracks, probably the first time that was done in the digital era. Get this with the two-CD Starday/Mercury set "Cup of Loneliness" and Time-Life's two-CD Musicor compilation "The Great Lost Hits" and you have the greatest records George Jones ever cut before he went to Columbia. (There are plenty of great records from that era, but I prefer the purer honky tonk sound of his Starday/Mercury/UA/Musicor records. If there was a Mount Rushmore of country, I don't think four heads would be enough, but George would definitely be a contender along with Jimmie Rodgers, the Carter Family, Hank Sr., Patsy Cline, Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Loretta Lynn and Willie Nelson.
