1 von 2 finden das hilfreich I have wanted one of these for years and when I saw the eBay price I purchased. The clock is attractive and has a soft gentle tick. The bell tone is nice as well and although you can not shut it off it should not wake you unless very near your bedroom. You regulate the time by turning a knob on the pendulum...once you get within 2-3 seconds per day let the clock run a few days and make small adjustments.. In this way you can get very accurate time. I have heard that with proper cleaning and oiling these clocks are capable of running 100 years!...It is worth noting the Lester and Stamford models have a upgraded heavy duty movement. For obvious reasons this style clock may not be the best choice for very dusty environment like garage or work shop without extra cleaning intervals
