Fits perfectly on Early 99 7.3 Powerstrokes
2 von 3 finden das hilfreich I hesitated for a long time to get this as there were mixed reviews on the fitment of this CAI into an early 99. Those must have been older reviews on the previous design, this one bolted right in with zero modifications needed. I previously had an AFE filter in the stock air box housing so I have not noticed any difference in the turbo whistle, but still a great system that draws air from the front of the truck and from the stock fender opening. Make sure you check that the front snorkel is not obstructed, I had to cut an opening to make sure that fresh air got to the front snorkel. Yes it blocks the fill for the power steering pump reservoir, but do yourself a favor and change your fluid before you install this. There are simple videos on how to do this on YouTube. Your 7.3 truck is at least 15 years old, you'll love how much better she brakes and turns after a flush, and go with synthetic! You won't be sorry with this system, looks great when installed. I've attached a before and after picture for you to see the difference.
