Great Pickups!
I had an 80' Epiphone SG 310 with some cheep korean pickups and a muddy sound.
So I was looking for a great replace for less money. I decited to get the Wilkinson Zebras. The sound is greater already the with the old Pick-Ups but then I tested out some Caps that I hat and at least I decited to put in a pair of Styroflex 2500pf parrallel with a Roedenstein KP 1837 2700pf wich has a capacivity of only 0,005 uF and just slightly changes the Tone but it does it in a really beautyfull style. Classic caps have values 0,022 uF or 0,047 uF in SG style Guitars, but for me the Tonechange is to extreme and often does not really sound nice. Now this guitar sounds brilliant with nice rich overtones. If you change the Tone you still have a nice full sound but with less overtones. Perfekt, I love it!
