Grind the flange before installation! Too late for pictures.

I recommend it but, the manufacture that made this lower control arm should have addressed the issue of the oversize flange around the ball joint that pushes the brake rotor dust shield into the brake rotor. A simple note to grind about 1/8 inch off this flange, before installation, would have made my work load a lot less. Otherwise it is a very nice part.
