Does a great job for a low price
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich This is a great manual burr grinder in the sense that it does a great job for a low price. Once set to the desired grind size, it grinds an evenly and consistently. I use an Aeropress every morning and can taste a huge difference between using a reglular spinning grinder and this conical burr grinder. Coffee just tastes better when ground evenly using this type of conical burr grinder. It is simple to use, and clean. It takes up less space than an electric grinder. It is much quieter than an electric grinder. It can be taken camping or used anywhere there is no electricity.
This is powered manually, so that could be a problem for those whose grip strength is less than average. It requires two hands to use, one to turn the grinding lever and one to hold the grinder steady against the force of turning. It takes a bit of effort from both hands. Sometimes it jams and requires a momentary reversing of direction to get everything going again.
For me, the results are totally worth the effort. It would cost at least 10 times as much to get an electric conical burr grinder that could grind at the same quality.
