Good book and interesting read. Great for those with an interest in old books and cookery.
A decent job has been made of printing this book - a copy of a much older publication, complete with the more original spelling and use of words, I suspect this is a very faithful rendition (in terms of text) of the original copy. The cover is quite pretty, and a decent job has been made to fit it to what is quite a thin book.
The formatting of the book looks a lot like that of an e-book that's been printed which is generally fine (and I commend it for saving paper), however it does end up making the title page(s) in particular look a bit messy.
As for the content, you may find it a bit difficult to use as a cookbook (without some experimentation and tweaking) as times have changed since the 17th Century - you'd definitely want to cut down on the amount of ingredients unless you're cooking for a lot of people.
Overall its a fascinating read, and an interesting addition to a kitchen for those who wish to try things we may not really think about or consider nowadays. For that alone its worth the cost. Certainly recommended if you enjoy cooking or enjoy reading old books. Perhaps though, it could do with a table of contents (with page numbers).

Older Style Oldfield in a Modern Light
An excellent example of Mike Oldfield's work, taking those ideas from his older albums and creating a nice fresh sounding piece of work. Any fan of Mike Oldfield, particularly those who prefer his older form of work should give this a listen!
