Unimpressive but will get you by
This tester comes with type N connectors which are not that common in amateur radio compared to PL259 so after you pay a fairly decent price to get this you will have to go out and spend even more to buy special connectors to be able to use it. Its primitive interface compared to similar ones only shows one setting at a time. Competetors in this price range will show both swr and power at once. Probably would not buy this model again.

A good option
The product comes with an easy applicator that allows you to easily put it on your dog. It seems to start working fairly fast. It did not cause any irritation to the dog.

Well constructed
This product is used to connect the satellite receiver made by uniden to the scanner, due to a lack of thought when making the receiver, it was fitted with only a serial port, so this is a work around. That said, it works great, does its job well and I recommend the product especially if you want to use it with the BCD436HP or other product that calls for this type of device interface.
