It works but not good for writing text
It works well if you just want to control the computer using your finger. But it is not so good for writing text or scripts. The main issue is that, even though you don't touch the scree but your finger is very close to it, it thinks you are touching it. So, if you write "1", then your finger leaves the screen but not far away (>~2 mm), then you write "2" nearby', you will see the two numbers linked by a trace. Another issue is that you can best use your finger, but not a find-point pen, to write something small. In a word, it can by no means fully replace the real touch-screen screen.
