Direct replacement.
Purchased as a replacement for an Epiphone Black Beauty LP and it fit fine, no issues, but shipping is a bit slow..

Really convenient system to try out pedals and access unusual effects via IOS Istomp app. Library of about fifty effects that all sound pretty decent.
While no longer sold, the entire downloadable effects pedal library is free and is available for IOS and will operate on newer Ipads and Ipods. There's seventy or so effects pedals that are active and available for download. I've had a lot of luck using these pedals to download any effect type that's a little bit of an oddball and not worth buying. The pedal effect patches download quickly. I find that they don't sound bad at all and they work well with traditional pedals. IOS updates aren't likely to keep arriving for these, but there's an easy work around by using an IOS version that will work with the Istomp system and then not updating it. I use an old mini Ipad and an Ipod touch. It never really captured much of a market, but there's a lot of fun effects that you can download for it.
