Marvelous magazine on the life of Shirley Temple Black
Shirley Temple Black was an American icon. When she passed away 4 years ago, there was very little hoopla made by national magazines. Finally on the occasion of her 90th birthday, Newsweek and others have created commemorative magazines in her honor. This one is excellent! Shirley Temple Black was a personal friend of mine. I think she would be very pleased if she could be here to see this magazine. At the time of her passing, approximately 4 years ago, there was very little coverage in National magazines about the life of this American icon. She is the only star from the 1930s who became an ambassador, Whitehouse diplomat, and successful mother and wife. Excellent magazine!

Loved Deanna Durbin and Elizabeth Patterson...
I had only seen one short film that Deanna Durbin had made. But this film Lady on a Train was lots of fun. I really enjoyed the slapstick, the chills, the singing and the film Noir type photography. Five stars definitely!
