Highly Recommended for Singers, Speakers, Teachers
I use my voice all day professionally and often at night too. I was getting hoarse all the time and discovered the mint cough drops I was using were exacerbating the problem. These gentle pastilles with glycerin and sugar-free fruit flavors are a godsend, comforting and lubricating. Not cheap but worth every penny! Not easy to find, so thank you for carrying them!

A Helpful and Fun Book About Overcoming Fear
If you believe in God and have young children, then Where's God When I'm Scared? is a good book to add to your library. The book is not as wonderful as the video (DVD now, surely, but when I first saw it, it was on video), also called Where's God When I'm Scared?, but the book would be fabulous to read at bedtime after watching the DVD. There is also a song, "God Is Bigger Than the Boogieman," which one can find on many VeggieTales CDs, and which is impossible to hear without joining in. The song lyrics are what appear in the book, in fact, with a little additional text.
I am a preschool teacher in a church-based school, and we were doing a unit on "Whooo's Up at Night?" In addition to nocturnal animals, I wanted the children to be aware that the moon and stars are up at night and that God is always up. We have a chapel center in our room, and I added this copy of "Where's God When I'm Scared?" to it as well as a singing Junior Asparagus nightlight and some VeggieTales bracelets, which read "God loves you very much." The three- and four-year-olds were entranced! We read the book, we sang the song, and they "read" the book to themselves and played with Junior every day for a month. (Not everyone of them did so every day, mind you, but someone was there every day for a month, and that's a very long time to a three- or four-year-old.)
If you don't know VeggieTales, I'd recommend watching one of the movies or DVDs first, but this book is an excellent addition to a faith-based library, whether at home, church, or school. Young children are often afraid of the dark . . . or of something . . . and it is very reassuring to be told that God is always with us so we are never alone.
