works great
no need to program. Just put in the batteries (not supplied) and it's ready to use. It is a little lighter weight (maybe a1/3 lighter) than the original that came with the TV but other than that a very comparable product.

better than renting
we purchased this router / wifi for our Xfinity service and they just installed it. It has a high yield / strong signal range within about a 50 radius and although we haven't been able to test how it handles download speeds we are sure it's going to be fine.

cheaply built

However after installing it and using it for less than 20 minutes the pad vibrated right off the sander, the 3 screws holding it in place having pulled through the backing of the pad. The original part had a metal backing, this one is plastic or fiberglass and simply did not stand up. I have been in touch with the manufacturer and have had NO REPLY / NO RESPONSE much to my disappointment. I have since bought one from another company on Ebay that has a metal back and all is fine. It cost about a buck and a half more, but well worth it. You get what you pay for... that's the lesson for this week!
