A gripping story!
This book, which covers the largest mass murder in Colorado history (and the first bombing of an airliner in the United States) is utterly fantastic. It’s hard to imagine such an event. The author does a great job covering the incident, the forensic and legal investigations, and the trial of the perpetrator. I highly recommend this book!

A Wonderful Look at the First Coast to Coast American Roadway
This book is a great deep dive into the first Coast to Coast (New York City to San Fransico) highway in the United States. There are great stories and wonderful vintage photos in the book. You get a real feel of how different motoring was in the early part of the 20th century. Highly recommended!

Pork Cake Anyone?
This is a fun cookbook with many interesting, and often unusual, recipes. Some of the recipes (like a Pork Brain Sandwich) require living on a farm, or having access to a specialty meat market. Still, it’s a fun read.
