Rubber!
The mats are good but the rubber smell is awful. I have tried to remove the smell but no luck as yet.

Pros and cons
Works well to block out the high end treble that crash cymbals create as a drummer, and stops the ringing in your ears at the end of a gig. The only down side is they also block a lot of the other frequencies that make listening and playing music fun.

work in process
The is a excellent product and produces a good expresso. Now the only downside is it takes a while to perfect the whole brewing process. I am still in the learning process and that is only really acheived with practise and view various forums online.
