Very interesting
I enjoyed the book very much. However, I notice the most important of the Cornell family was not listed; no fault of the Author. A William Ellery is a person who signed the Declaration of Independence. He is a great great grandson of Elizabeth Cornell who is the daughter of Thomas Cornell and Rebecca Cornell. Don't feel bad as the original Cornell genealogy book also missed this very important member. The reason he was missed is because there is no following of the female Cornells; only the men. Many of the women were lost in the mix because only Men were important. William Ellery's great great grandmother married a man named Almy. There were a couple other minor errors in my line of Cornells; but it is understandable that a person cannot follow every line; and is more concerned with their own direct line. This being said, it is well worth the price and shed new light on much.
