Difficult to setup
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich After success with Bluetooth on an Arduino UNO, I decided to try WiFi. This ESP was a good price and arrived on time and in good shape. Unfortunately, setting up the software and AT operating modes did not go well. While I did manage to partially command the unit, I never achieved getting the unit to work properly. There is extensive information on the web, but it didn't really help - too many conflicting approaches. I eventually gave up and bought a Particle Photon, which is more expensive but worked immediately on an easy set up. I believe the ESP-01 is an early version know to be difficult to set up. I'd recommend a later unit, maybe a ESP-12, I think, if the price is good.

As advertised.
The shield fits well on the Arduino UNO and connectors seem to be of good quality. The small breadboard works well too; it's good for small projects that need quick testing.
Delivery seemed to take longer than necessary based on the tracking information.
It would be good if a simple printed schematic of the board wiring was included.

Does the job
Does the job well. It's a little wide, which can block an adjacent USB port.
