Not so hot
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich I am a great fan of Jack Cassady, from his Jefferson Airplane to his Hot Tuna contributions. Unfortunately, his solo effort "Dream Factor" CD is a bomb. It may have been better to have released just the lyrics as a book of poetry. This largely inconsistent musical effort suffers from the ‘Too Many Cooks Spoil the Soup’ syndrome. There are too many lead singers, guitar players et all, who provide a mediocre hodgepodge of musical exertions, none of which excite me for a second listen.

The Bible of guitar construction
A very comprehensive book that explains in excellent detail the steps required to construct two types of acoustic guitars.
It is well written and will be useful as a reference book for both the novice and the experienced luthier. A great deal of detail is devoted to each stage of the build from wood selection, tools, assembly methods and finishing.
Alas, the pictures are all black and white. It would be a delight if the book was updated with color pics.

A great collection
A great compilation CD featuring blues greats such as Savoy Brown, Jorma Kaukonen, Johnny Winter and Mike Bloomfield to mention a few. A wonderful way to add some 'hard to get' tracks to your collection.
Now to find Vols I & II.
