Fast freeze solder; first time I've used it and it is great for SMD.

Worthwhile investment for SMD work
This microscope has quality adjustment features that make it easy to focus and locate over your work piece. The optics are exellent, the led light attatchment is great and by using the 0.5 Barlow lens you still have a very usable magnification as well as increased working distance between the workpiece and the microscope lens. I'm just a home hobby user, not proffessional, and find this instrument a very nice addition to my workbench.
