Classy Display
Recently I purchased a small collection of vintage military cigarette lighters from my friend's father's estate. I wanted to honor his father by displaying them and letting people share in their uniqueness. I looked around and it seemed that the only option I had was a wall mounted display case. I was about to settle for that style when I found this desktop display case. It is perfect. Many people have commented on how nice it looks, but more importantly my friend and his mother love it. As do I.

Rand McNally Road Atlas - A Life Saver
I'll admit that I'm a bit of a hybrid(old school/appreciate tech). Recently I traveled cross country (4,107 miles) from California to South Dakota to Oklahoma then back to California. A total of ten states and not all on an interstate highway. While planning my trip I purchased the 2022 Rand McNally Road Atlas as a hands on low tech supplement to my car's GPS. Of course my kids laughed at me and mentioned a dinosaur a time or two. Well, during a leg of my trip that took me through the back roads of rural Oklahoma and the panhandle of Texas my GPS went out (more a problem with my car unit as opposed to the the GPS system). With many turns and connecting roads I was virtually driving blind. Thank goodness for my RM Road Atlas. I was able to pull over and reference my location and route with certainty. The alternative would have been dire to say the least as there where very limited resources available for help. Needless to say I was very happy to have the Rand McNally Road Atlas as my co-pilot.
