Great for memories of the 1980's
5 von 5 finden das hilfreich As an 8 year old kid living in South Florida, Miami Vice had a definite impact on my childhood. Besides the A-Team, Crockett & Tubbs were the coolest thing on TV.
First, the packaging for this DVD set is nice with the white tolex and aqua interior. Even the hinges that hold the top are nice.
It's great to have all the shows at your finger tips. It's interesting to see how the credits and music changed within the first few episodes. While some of the acting is a bit over the top, the color and feel of the show reminds me of fond memories.
My only real gripe with the set is the lack of bonus features. You'd think they'd do a cool interview with the cast upon releasing this package. It was such a ground-breaking show, and the bonus features do it no justice.
I bought this because the price was right, and I have always liked the show.

Great retro coffee table book
I checked this book out of the library, many times as a child, and it definitely played a role in me joining the USAF.
Feeling nostalgic, I found this book, and its Navy companion, “The Cutting Edge”.
I love these two books.
