Good Product
Very useful alternative to the old style bungee. The flat cable seems to be more secure and doesn’t cut in as much.

Good Replacement Part
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Same as original. Unfortunately the seals tend to fail every couple of years making regular replacements necessary. Kenwood should improve the design.

Expensive but worth it.
Fairly simple to use and excellent image quality for a flatbed.
Scans look as good as those produced from a dedicated scanner (Plustek) in my opinion but the convenience of being able to scan 12 slides or 18 negs in one go makes it so more user friendly.
It’s quite large but appears to be fairly robust And well-made. Comes with free Epson Scan software which is basic but gets the job done and is ideal for batch scanning very quickly. The best images can always be re-scanned using the included Silverfast SE software which allows more control and tends to produce slightly better results, certainly when sharpening images or removing dust and scratches etc.
