Works First Time!
This was ordered, on my dime, for a school library, so the low price was critical. I had qualms about whether or not it would work with our library catalog system, but I figured it was worth a try. Our old scanners, which needed adapters to plug into a computer USB port, had died in the last school year. I need not have worried, as the scanner worked right out of the box, and has been performing as it should for a couple weeks. It's easy to use and is more reliable and quicker than typing in the five digits off the catalog tag. It also enters UPCs when we are adding books to the catalog.
