"Detailed, smooth-working & beautiful"

This Northern Pacific boxcar is the best and quickest proof that MTL freight cars are simply the highest-quality N-Scale products on the market. THIS is the boxcar that every "N" model railroad should have. The reason is because it surely brings back memories to all of us who saw trains going by in the '50's & '60's, with its memorable and beautiful oversized letters and logo, Thus little kids will LOVE its sight on your layout, and will remember this 'neat' example of model railroading, so that they can 'do this' when they get old enough. I'm certain that those 'real-ones' going by made us anxious when we saw them in miniature at the Hobby Shop, . . .and then we were hooked. So, I highly recommend adding at least one of these 'babies' to your railroad, and then, . ...pass on the memory!

"High detail & historically accurate"

This Roundhouse (brand) green, Express Reefer sets the standard for detail, historic accuracy, and authentic, crisp colors. It rolls and operates smoothly, and stays hitched to adjoining rolling stock. It is well-weighted, and runs smooth with the train, with no 'wobbling', vibrations, or any other 'toy-like' actions or features. This is older product specifications, and is in fresh, mint condition in the box. As such, it of course carries the older style 'Rapido'-type couplers. "Kadee" coupler conversion kits are always and easily available, as desired. This car is extremely accurate and highly recommended. And so, if you run any steam-era passenger or express trains, from the "roaring twenties" through the "fabulous fifties", then one or several of these 'babies' are a must for your consist. Preferably, hook it right behind the engine, where it belongs, along with a few others just like it. And remember, 'Roundhouse' N-Scale products are as precise, detailed, and accurate as N-Scale technology allows. In short, this "R.E.A." Reefer is simply the best, and is sure to start a few conversations about the 'Express Train' romance of the past.
