The Onion Picker speaks of a proud heritage of hard working people that helped build this country.
Carmen Basilio is from my hometown, and I knew him personally. His story is one of those in which a person achieved the "American Dream" through hard work, dedication, and integrity.
He was a great man.
My Grandparents were also Italian immigrant muck farmers so that hit home as well.

Gets the job done.
I have the same rasp that I bought 20 years ago for bow making. I had a "special bow" to build and wanted to make sure I had a sharp rasp. While using the new one, I decided to break out my original.
I found no difference in performance. My "old" rasp has seen use on over 80 bows of various hardwoods.
The price point of the new one was good and it won't hurt to have a spare.
I don't think that the Brazil made is as good as the one made in the USA as there were some slight but noticeable differences in the quality.

Moves air well but lets you know it's running!
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich We had one for 8 or 9 years in our doorway to move heated air from our pellet stove into another room. It started to get noisy so we decided to replace it with another of the same.
This one slid right into place with a nice piece of neoprene rubber as a backer to reduce noise and vibration should it occur. The first thing I noticed is that the RPMs of this one seem higher, and it moves a substantially greater volume of air.
This comes with a price..........it's MUCH noisier than the "old" one we had of the same make???
When watching the TV, it's annoying to the point that we turn it off to be able to hear without using warp volume.
Does the job, but is in no way "whisper quiet".
