Rebuilt carb, left us stranded
The float in this kit after just rebuilding it, very first trip on the water the float failed and left us stranded on the water. The float cracked, became fuel soaked, and was coming off of the hanger. Put the old float back on and it runs like a champ. Very dissatisfied.

wonderful read!
I recommend reading the writwrs first book, Blackbird, before reading this, as it is a sequel to the story. Both books are wonderfully written and captivating as the story is told from the author's childhood perspective. Its an eye opening story of what some children endure as they grow up. I couldn't put the book down.
