OK
It was a bit strange. I wanted to know him better so bought the book, cheap and used. It wasn't compelling, I picked it up every day or two and read some more. Love him as an actor, especially Dallas Buyers Club, but it might just be me. Too many different fonts, handwriting you can't read, etc. Lots of old notes through the years, which I appreciate, but all kinda distracting.

LOVE THIS BOOK!
I love this book-JD has no filter and I LOVED reading this back story. I know I need to sit down and watch the movie too.
To see his struggles and him getting through it, Amen to him. I LOVED when he called Usha about what fork to use at the job interview, a la "Pretty Woman". No ego here, he is such a great speaker too. Raw and real, for sure
