Liberty Stands Still.
I'm not too good at reviews of this sort but here goes: I saw this film quite a few years ago when it was released. At that time I was on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next, and since it has been more than 9 years since I saw it the first time, I'd forgotten what happened therein. Upon second viewing, I found the film as gripping last time I saw it as it was the first time. If you like Phone Booth, the viewer will love this one. Have the Kleenex on stand-by as it is a very sad ending.

Easy to put into service, very reliable!
It's rather surprising that voltage regulators are available in a TO92 package. These function as a TO220 package, only the output current is limited to 100mA. (0.1A). Very often a TO220 is installed, operating at below 100mA but if space is limited, it's an ideal solution. It's a miracle of modern semiconductor manufacturing that a circuit consisting of 10 transistors can be etched onto a tiny piece of silicon, but that is electronics in 2023!

The LM386 is the go to device for all sorts of low signal amplification purposes. Very cheap. Sound quite good for guitar, as well. Typical uses: guitar practice amplifier, meter driver, intercom and bull horn. A useful feature is it requires very few additional components to get it working. I'd always suggest the inclusion of a 8 pin DIL socket to mount it in. It has no reverse polarity protection and shorts between some pins would result in irreparable damage. Since they're so cheap, it isn't a worry. I've used one of these in an over load scenario as well: 3 ohms at 12 volts, no ill effects, so it's a robust little thing as well.
