Brilliant comedy series
Written and starring Jack Dee this sitcom series records the day to day life and frustrations of curmudgeonly stand-up comedian and family man, Rick Spleen. Very funny indeed.

Tastes Horrible!
The efficacy of product itself is probably fine but it tastes horrible!

Perfect gift for any cat lover
I was given this book recently as a gift but was initially reluctant to read it. I had read all the James Herriot books as a teenager several decades ago, and I thought that maybe over time my tastes would have changed. Also, I find the current TV series of 'All Creatures Great and Small' overly sentimental and twee.
However, when I started to read this book of James Herriot's cat stories, I remembered why I had loved his books all those years ago. He writes with a wit and engaging narrative that isn't obvious in the TV series, and his story telling is clever without being contrived.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book which focuses on some of his dealings with cats and their owners during his time as a Yorkshire vet. My only complaint is that it isn't longer. I wanted to read more stories!
Anyway, I liked it so much that I have bought this copy to give to someone else. I recommend it to any cat lover.
