Used only 3 parts out of the whole kit

I have a 3.5HP B&S engine on an edger ... there were only 3 gasket parts that I could use out of the whole kit ... the rest of the gaskets and screws were useless! .. I had to purchase a separate idle screw that would fit my carb ... you are better off just searching / purchasing individual parts for engine.

THIS KOHLER IGNITION MODULE CONVERSION KIT WAS THE FIX MY SEARS TRACTOR NEEDED!

THIS KOHLER IGNITION MODULE CONVERSION KIT WAS THE FIX MY SEARS GT6000 GARDEN TRACTOR NEEDED!!!! My Sears 2010 GT6000 Garden Tractor was starting OK but after about 10 to 15 minutes of use - it would start to back fire / lose power. I replaced the spark plugs ... fuel filter ... air filter ... oil change with new oil filter ... but still no change to the performance. After checking out some you tube videos I came across the recommendation to replace the ignition coils with a conversion kit. So I ordered the coil conversion kit ... watched the videos .. and made the repairs myself My Sears Garden Tractor now runs like new!!!!! ... and I saved myself approx. $500 which would have been the cost for a local lawn mower repair shop to do the same repairs and the cost to pick up / deliver tractor. Any Do-It-Yourselfer can do it ... it's worth the effort!!!!!
