Useful accessory
My copy does what it is supposed to do. Firm rotation and construction. Great for macro and adapting non-standard lens mounts.

Does what is supposed to do
Bought these because I was tired of having to improvise when it came to repairing lenses. These do what they are supposed to do. They cup securely to the lens flange and allow for a confident loosening. Have not used them for anything else yet. Nice addition to my camera repair toolkit.

Good basic instruction on starting out in large format photgraphy
Found the book to be a good basic instructional for anyone interested in LF photography. Probably taking an LF course would be the best but this comes close, as the bookr eally helps clear up misconceptions and trepidation that a novice LF photographer could have. Some detailed info on camera types, lenses and film among other aspects of the format. Really helpful in understanding how the equipment and workflow differ from 35mm.
I still refer to it as I learn more about the format.
Other books that were recommended to me include Stroebel's The View Camera Technique (dense but a bible) or Ansel Adam's The Camera (I had) or Jim Stone's A User's Guide to the View Camera (not read).
Overall a good buy and instrumental in my continued interest in LF.
