There was no mention of any damage nor pics highlighting any damage. I contacted the seller and was told that "due to the item being over a decade old I should assume damage". No, a buyer should never have to assume anything. Any damage should be pointed out. I attempted to reconcile through communication but was met only with insults. If the buyer had simply looked at the pictures they would've seen the "damage" (a single extremely minor blister). Buyer didnt want to initiate a return despite being offered one, and instead wanted to argue endlessly about how an item with a single blister shouldn't be labelled new. Buyer clearly just wanted to take me for a ride...

Battery didnt want to charge at first bu...
Battery didnt want to charge at first but after leaving it plugged in for a few hours it came back to me! Seems to be in excellent health, I even librebooted my t420 and swapped over to pop OS and it seems to be functioning perfectly! Thanks again, super happy to have a slice battery for my thinkpad.
